[Sonic Heroes! (Adventure Style)]

Im guessing it's basic but how do you do the shade and highlights for the cuffs of his shoes
I've tried multiple times but they never look accurate enough

There's a very useful tutorial Chaomix made a couple years back which explains it very well. Also tip: generally you wanna fade out the shadows of the cuffs in the middle.
